Privacy policy

The contact form. Your name, a message, your email and/or phone number, and which of buying, selling, or talking it through you picked. You choose what to share; the form works with either an email or a phone number.

The Napa letter signup. Just your email address.

Nothing behind the scenes. This site has no analytics, no advertising trackers, and no marketing pixels, and it does not use cookies to follow you around. Like nearly every website, the servers that host it keep standard technical logs (things like your IP address and browser type) for security and troubleshooting, for a limited period.

Videos. A few property pages include YouTube videos in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. YouTube sets nothing unless you press play; if you do, YouTube's own privacy policy applies to that player.

You send me a message because you want to hear back, and I use your details to reply by whichever method you gave me. You sign up for the Napa letter because you want the letter, and I use your email to send it. Everything here happens with your consent, given when you submit the form. The two are kept separate: sending me a message does not sign you up for the letter, and letter emails are used for the letter.

What you send is saved to a database so it cannot be lost, and it is sent on to me. That involves a small number of service providers and no one else: Vercel (vercel.com), which hosts the site and keeps the standard server logs mentioned above; Supabase (supabase.com), which hosts the database the messages are saved in; and Resend (resend.com), which delivers them to my inbox.

I don't sell your personal information, I don't share it for advertising, and I don't pass it to anyone else. If you become a client, the details of your transaction are handled under your representation agreement and my brokerage's policies, which we will go over together.

What you send through a form is kept in the database described above, and in my inbox like any other correspondence, until you ask me to delete it. Letter signups stay on the list until you unsubscribe or ask me to remove you. Ask, and it goes.

See it, fix it, or delete it. Email me and I will tell you what I have about you, correct it, or delete it, and confirm when it's done.

Stop the letter. Every letter includes an unsubscribe link, or just reply and say stop.

California. I don't sell or share personal information as California privacy law defines those terms, so there is nothing to opt out of. The access and deletion requests above are open to you regardless.

This site is for people buying and selling homes. It isn't directed at children and I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

If I change how this site handles your information, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
